Ripefish was a wonderful experiment and next time I’ll make sure to check the domain name. At least the original ripefish.com wasn’t gay porn - but it was still too close for comfort.

Tom Chandler of Trout Underground fame needs some fellow to chop wood and haul water, so being starstruck, naturally I agreed.

Somebody has to teach that lad how to rever graphite, and I’m guessing that task is mine.

Crash Davis: Yeah, I was in the show. I was in the show for 21 days once - the 21 greatest days of my life. You know, you never handle your luggage in the show, somebody else carries your bags. It was great. You hit white balls for batting practice, the ballparks are like cathedrals, the hotels all have room service, and the women all have long legs and brains.
